ABOUT METhis is my sixth year teaching. This year I will teach Social Studies and electives at Moore Square Magnet Middle School. My past experiences include teaching fourth grade reading and writing, middle school language arts, and teaching high school in South Korea. In 2014, I taught abroad in South Korea for a few months. It was an amazing experience!
I'm a native North Carolinian. I graduated from Wake County Public Schools, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in African American Studies (Go Heels!), and Lynchburg College with a Master's of Education in Curriculum & Instruction and concentration in Social Studies. Currently, I am pursuing my second Master's degree through NC State University. I am excited to pursue this degree and will work hard to make sure that all of my students have an incredible year as we learn together. I have a love for equity in education, history, fitness, and reading! It is an honor and privilege to teach our learners today. I am looking forward to diving into Social Studies this year! |
